Insanity: Day 53!

Hey peeps! Hope the day is going well! Yesterday I completed the Core Cardio and Balance and did great! I was feeling it the entire time and stuck to the entire DVD. It was nice! I got on the treadmill for a low impact cardio workout of uphill walking, which of course felt good. Feeling rather tired today and blah so I might take a rest day today, we will see. If not, its Max Interval Plyo – which I don’t know if I have the energy for to be honest!

Food time!

Breakfast:
1 naner
1 whole wheat english muffin
Spinach
1 egg
1 tsp of lite mayo
1 lite laughing cow wedge

Snack:
6 almonds

Dinner:
Slice of everything pizza (no crust)

Snack:
Handful of caramel/cheddar popcorn

Pretty sure that is all I had to eat, which isn’t a lot, but that sammy in the AM fills me up. I have the banana when I get up then another hour or so I will have the sammy so I am not terribly hungry throughout the day, just after working out. I had a few shots, but that’s it. I got in 100 ounces of water, might be a bit more than that. Its going to take a little bit to get through the next 7 DVD’s, prolly a bit more than a week, but its going to get done and I will be finished! Then its treadmill and weights again. Oh boy! I want to add the Ab Ripper X DVD from the P90X program too twice a week, it gets my abs ripped! I also want to add a Jillian Michael’s DVD in here and there. Woot!

Insanity: Day 52!

Hey y’all! I know you have missed me these last several days! Yesterday I completed the Max Interval Circuit and did the best I have done! It was tough, but I got through it and really pushed it. Today is the Core Cardio & Balance DVD and I am glad it is an easier one. I am supposed to have a rest day before the next eight days are through so I might take it, but if I am feeling well than I will push it. I will be done and I will miss this blog, but appreciate all the support the last few months!

Food!

Breakfast:
Bagel thin
1 tbsp of whipped cream cheese
1 tbs of strawberry jam

Snack:
1 string cheese
9 rice crackers

Post Insanity:
10 oz of ff milk
1 scoop of choc whey

Dinner:
1 fillet minon, 8 oz
1 oz of blue cheese
1 cup of organic white corn
3 red taters w/ some butter, lite sour cream, and some shredded cheese

I had a beer and some shots last night, and been doing well with the water. I had 100 oz yesterday and was nice to get more water in my system since over the weekend I did not get much. Drinking some coffee and gonna get to my DVD in a bit.

Insanity: Day 51!

Alright people, its almost Friday and you know that makes me happy! Its gonna be a long day because I want it to go fast! So, yesterday I completed the Max Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs back to back and felt great! I was sweating like a beast! I then got on the treadmill for 40 minutes and completed 536 calories. I got 1,666 calories so far – not the best number, but hey. I am on track for my 2,000 goal by Friday so that makes me happy. Today is Max Recovery and I am going to love it! I do not have to do 500 calories on the treadmill today so that makes me happy, but who knows, maybe I will!

Food time!

Breakfast:
1 whole wheat english muffin
1 egg
1 slice of ham
1 slice of mater
1 tsp of lite mayo
1 lite laughing cow wedge
1/2 a little avocado

Snack:
5 pieces of salami
10 rice crackers
1 string cheese

Dinner:
beef burrito from the taco truck, SO GOOD!

Snack:
Some dark chocolate

I drink 100 ounces of water yesterday as well! And man am I craving a beer now! Woot! One more day until that tasty beverage is on my lips again! I tell you, going a week without drinking sure does wonders for your body!! I am ready for a weekend of partying! Got to go clean up the RV more so have a great Thursday peeps!

Insanity: Day 50!

Hey y’all!! It is Hump Day that means that the week is finally going! I am so excited about Friday because its Oktoberfest and yes I am talking about it a lot, but its one of the best times in the year! Woot! Yesterday I completed the Max Interval Plyo DVD and did really well despite being really sore, and I mean really sore. I am still sore today, but I will be alright. I got on the treadmill yesterday for 40 minutes and burned 553.2 calories! So far that is 1130 calories burned on top of Insanity and I imagine I burn a good 400-600 calories in that hour long DVD so I am a burning machine! I feel much leaner after staying true to no alcohol for the last couple days and my body obviously thanks me! I had a good 100 oz of water, a bit more because I have had some tea as well. Feels good!!

Food time!

Breakfast:
1 whole wheat english muffin
1 egg
1 slice of ham
Spinach
1 slice of mater
Almost 1/2 an avocado
1 tsp of lite mayo
1 lite laughing cow wedge

Snack:
1 string cheese
10 rice crackers
5 slices of salami
Some grapes

Dinner:
1 1/2 cups of taco pasta skillet w/ cilantro and mater slices
1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese

Snack:
13 pretzels
2 cookies (hehe)
1 tbsp of natural PB
Grapes
2 slices of cheese

Alright, I ate better yesterday and those snacks are not all at once. I had some about an hour after dinner and then the cookies about a few hours later with some PB to round it out! It is nice to not have beer or wine during the week and I definitely feel like I have lost 5 pounds because of it. Today I will complete the Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs then some treadmill time…got to get it in!!

Insanity: Day 49!

Oh man, do I see that light at the end of the tunnel!! I am glad I am almost done! Yesterday I completed Fit Test & Max Interval Circuit and had a couple treadmill sessions in between and burned a total of 576.8 calories and felt great! I will be completing the Max Interval Plyo today then another 40 minutes of the treadmill afterwards. It definitely makes the fat melt right off and I can feel it the next day when I am lighter. Today should be great as I am so glad its not a two DVD day, unlike tomorrow. After tomorrow is Max Recovery followed by more treadmill time. My goal on Sunday was to burn 2,000 more calories in by Friday on top of Insanity. I sure wish I had a workout watch so I can figure out how many calories I burn in these DVDs! I think on Friday in the morning I might do some light cardio because I can’t get enough and I will feel good about myself even if its 15 minutes. We will see!

Dinner:
1 1/4 cup of taco pasta skillet w/whole wheat pasta

Snack:
2 choc. chip cookies

Well, I didn’t eat much yesterday, but I had a good dinner and did okay. I tell you on Mondays I always feel a bit full because of the weekend that I eat a bit more on or have beer. I definitely think its a habit to break, but weekends are my time and I do my best, I just always lack on water. If I could just make sure to have at least a half gallon, I would be more hungry so eating a banana for breakfast did fill me up a bit and then had a snack and dinner was early so I didn’t want to protein shake and then carbs so I waited a bit. I had no alcohol yesterday and will continue this until Friday when beer drinking will commence!!

I got homework to get done before my workouts today! Happy Tuesday peeps!

Insanity: Day 47 & 48!

Hey y’all!! Its super windy here lately, make it much colder than it really is! Went and spent a day in Oktoberfest in Leavenworth on Saturday. It was a blast and this weekend is a full weekend of more Oktoberfest. I am excited since its the anniversary weekend, 6 years we have been going to this thing and its just a blast every year! We meet a lot of people and we just have a great time with each other. Very special to us! So I won’t go into food detail the last two days and I definitely did not drink enough water. Shame shame….I guess beer has water in it, but I really just failed on that so this weekend that is my challenge, drink 60 ounces each day, if not more.

So I did have a braut on Saturday, and in the morning I had a banana before my DVD, which was Core Cardio and Balance. It was a bit early, but I got it done and felt great that I did it. I am almost done – I am excited to be done. I am loosing interest a bit with this program now so I know its time to switch it up again and I can’t wait to do that soon. I got on the treadmill already today after my Fit Test. This is the second to last fit test and I did really well. Let’s compare!!

Well, not as good as I think I should be at, but I did take a week off and I know that affected me. I felt light, but some of them are so tough like those globe jumps. For the life of me I was trying my hardest to get 14, but obviously I failed. I still think having two or three more reps is great though, shows I can push a bit further than before. I have one more fit test before the program is over and I am going to do my hardest to bet every numbers plus some. I want to end on a great note!

So, I did have some beers over the weekend – which will happen this weekend, but taking a break the next four days to lean out a bit and to burn all that I can before we leave. I didn’t really snack much over the weekend. Had some maple sausage, left over mac & cheese that was homemade, but it was the lack of water that didn’t help. I am drinking more water today feels good already. In a bit I will complete the other DVD, which is Max Interval Circuit – BOOOOO!!!! My least favorite DVD, no joke. 3 different intervals, 10 minutes each with 30 seconds rest. After this time, I only have to do this DVD another two times….arg!

Its time for Insanity now….then the treadmill. Happy Monday people!!

Insanity: Day 46!

Hey y’all! Its early, but I am up to get some stuff done for the day before anyone wakes up. This is the time I enjoy the most and love to have the mornings to myself. I will be getting some coffee after I complete Insanity in a bit and then we have a  busy day to Leavenworth for Oktoberfest. We go each year, but sometimes twice with the kids, which is this year so it shall be a blast! Yesterday I completed the Max Cardio Conditioning and Cardio Abs back to back. It was tough, but I did great and felt great as well. I then got on the treadmill for a good 43 minutes or so and burned almost 550 cals, felt GREAT! This morning I will complete the Core Cardio & Balance, and I am glad its an easy DVD this morning. I know the next two weeks are going to kill me a bit, but its okay – its worth it and I will finish. I have to!
Food!

1 slice of ham

Post Insanity:
1 cup of vanilla soy milk

Handful of cheddar popcorn

So I had 15.5 oz of wine last night and it was nice to relax with some wine and then hit the bed early. I got in a good 3/4 a gallon yesterday and hope to get in some good water today, I just know that we will be driving for a couple hours so I don’t want to drink too much before or in the car! Today is going to be filled with good food and some beer, and I am excited. I look forward to this time of year EVERY year and its here! Woot!!
